I recently bought myself a 3rd party Xbox One controller (made by a company called PDP) as a replacement for the official one that I had smashed (after my dogs used it as a chew toy) but for some reason my system picks it up but doesn't detect any button presses on it. But I guess I'd rather have the vibration on Windows start-up but the display to actually turn off than have the latest drivers from Microsoft that prevent it from going to standby. To properly test the controller, launch a game that utilizes all the buttons on the controller (like Minecraft). The controller is always detected by the driver in preferences but most of the time the input doesn't work. We hope to add the Quick Menu to these devices in the future. My joy stick stopped working yesterday when I let Windows 10 install its latest update. If nothing else I'll post over there too in case they are capable of more than generic replies that link me to pages I say I have already read. See that? It was short/quick but it was a lot more relevance to my problem instead just of being a vague generic reply that makes it sound like I don't know the difference between a windows PC and an xbox. I'll assume you actually meant to say something like 'the xbox accessory drivers are maintained by a different department, please post your question on the xbox forums'. It seems like every time a 'microsoft engineer' replies to one of my posts on here it's complete none sense. Well if you had actually read my post instead of acting like a bot that detected the keyword 'xbox' and then spit out a generic 'this isn't our problem' reply, you would have realized that my problem actually has almost nothing to do with an xbox (I don't even own one.) and a lot to do with windows drivers and the device manager? You even linked to the directions that I mentioned in my original post, which I said I followed, but they didn't work.
